Consciousness based therapy for adults in California and Texas

Step out of the
patterns that
keep you stuck.

I help you notice the thoughts, habits, and old stories that keep you in a loop. Then we loosen their hold, so you can respond to life instead of repeating it.

About me

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of clinical experience, now seeing clients one on one in private practice.

My approach is consciousness-based. Much of what keeps us stuck runs on autopilot: a familiar thought, a reaction that fires before we choose it, a pattern learned long ago that made sense at the time.

None of that means something is wrong with you. It means you learned something well.

Therapy with me starts with awareness: seeing what's running the show, finding where you have more say than it feels like, and making different choices from there.

Notice it. Loosen it. Choose again.

I look at the whole person. Your mind, your body, your spirit, and your environment and relationships all shape how you feel, so we pay attention to all of them. I draw on evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, and I adapt them to you rather than asking you to fit a formula.

People often come to me for help with:

  • Recurring thought patterns, habits, or reactions they want to change
  • Stress, overwhelm, and emotional regulation
  • Relationship and family patterns
  • Recovery and relapse prevention
  • Life transitions and questions of meaning and purpose

Work with me

1:1 teletherapy

Sessions are by secure video for adults who are physically located in California or Texas at the time of each session.

  1. Free 20-minute consultation. A short call, with no obligation, to talk about what's bringing you in, ask any questions, and see whether we're a good fit. Fees and scheduling are covered here, before any treatment begins.

  2. First session. I get to know you, your history, and what you want to change, and together we decide what support looks like for you.

  3. Ongoing sessions. We meet regularly and work at a pace that fits your life.

Fees

  • Free consultation: 20 minutes, no charge.
  • Initial intake: $500 for a 90-minute session.
  • Ongoing sessions: $250 per one-hour session.

Private pay only. I don't bill insurance, and I can provide a superbill if you need one.

Financial assistance is available, depending on availability.

I also offer integration support: help making sense of a spiritual or altered-state experience, and bringing what you learned into daily life.

If something here sounds familiar, let's talk.
